The Institution of Civil Engineers in Wales (ICE Wales) represents the 3000 professional engineers (including chartered engineers, graduates, students and technicians) who live and work here. The Chairman of ICE Wales Main Committee for 2007-08 is Chris Laurence BEng PhD CEng MICE MIHT.
ICE Wales through its Committees, Groups and Branches, provides a local focus for the Institution’s activities. It organises events and training courses for members; actively contributes to the development of infrastructure public policy; and promotes the civil engineering profession.
Last year, we published our Agenda for a Nation report to stimulate debate and highlight the actions needed to improve the management and condition of Wales’s infrastructure.
